Donation to Little Ponderosa Zoo- December 2017

 

The Tennessee Veterinary Technician Association donated $250 to a local Zoo and exotic animal rescue. The Little Ponderosa Zoo located in Clinton TN, sustained major damage to their facilities, in a fire on December 4, 2017. One of the main barns was destroyed and over 45 animals perished in the fire, including reptiles, birds, primates, goats and many other species. The Zoo intends to rebuild and the community has donated food, supplies and temporary tents.

The barn sustained massive damage and over 45 animals lost their lives.

This is the Zoo’s Great Pyrenees dog named Charlie. She was burned in several places after she ran back into the barn to rescue her goats.
